During Cervantes Week, we will commemorate one of the most universally acclaimed figures of Spanish language and culture, Miguel de Cervantes. This event is organized by Instituto Cervantes-Albuquerque in collaboration with the National Hispanic Cultural Center, the Spanish Resource Center, and the Mexican Consulate in Albuquerque. ¡Salud y Sabor!: Nuevo México
Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Salud y Sabor, a partnership between the Agri-cultura Network, Street Food Institute, and the NHCC, is a free evening of food, art, and entertainment aimed at providing families with an opportunity to connect around nutrition, cooking, healthy lifestyles, and culture. Once a month, community members gather for cooking demonstrations using fresh, locally grown ingredients, as well as fun art activities for kids and adults, health screenings, and live entertainment. REZILIENCE Indigenous Arts Experience
NHCC Campus 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM8 am to 6 pm (Rio Rez Run in Bosque from 8 am to 9 am; NHCC campus opens at 9 am) A full day of interactive art, education, wellness, and technology programs, this premiere event features a mix of contemporary and traditional activities coordinated by various organizations and professionals working with and within Indigenous communities. ¡Vamos al Museo!
Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM10:30 am to 12:00 pm The National Hispanic Cultural Center is pleased to offer children’s programming on the first Saturday morning of every month. This is a fun and engaging artist-led family program. Families (limited to 25 participants) get a 30-minute museum tour focused on an art form, source inspiration, artist or type of material. Following the tour, the whole family can create their own artwork in the Pete V. Domenici Education Building Creative Classroom. Spanish Wine Tasting: By Instituto Cervantes

Helio San Miguel, a Spanish professional from Madrid who works as New York’s correspondent for Club de Gourmets (Spain´s leading wine and food magazine) is the presenter.
