This is a fun and engaging docent and artist-led family program. Opera Southwest Presents Rossini’s Tancredi (Rental)

Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM5 pm to 7 pm Día de Muertos is an annual traditional holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and many Hispanic communities. Join the NHCC and experienced, knowledgeable local artists to learn about the meaning of this celebration, the traditional arts and crafts associated with the celebration and development of ofrendas that honor families and individuals. The National Hispanic Cultural Center will hold its annual Despedida to celebrate Día de los Muertos with music, poetry and hands-on art making at this time-honored community gathering. Indigenous Comic Con

From November 18 through November 20, the Duke City will welcome Indigenous artists, creators, and designers from the worlds of comic books, games, sci-fi/fantasy, film, and television to share their art and expertise with a general audience and the Native/Indigenous community. Awards Ceremony: Cervantes Drawing Contest for Students
Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM3 pm to 4 pm Instituto Cervantes, the National Hispanic Cultural Center, and the Education Office-Embassy of Spain present the awards for a student drawing contest to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes, author of Don Quixote. Students in three age categories, ages 6-8, 9-11, and 12-15 were invited to submit original drawings depicting any subject matter relating to either Don Quixote or Miguel de Cervantes.
