The subject matter runs the gamut from comedies, action, romances and documentary films, to dramatic masterpieces. International Cinema Series, presented in partnership with ¡Globalquerque!, New Mexico’s Fifteenth Celebration of World Music and Culture, returning to the NHCC on September 20 & 21. Most films in the series are from countries whose artists are represented in this year’s festival. Call for Entries! Día de los Muertos Community Ofrenda Exhibit 2019 Each year the National Hispanic Cultural Center works with schools and community organizations to host an exhibit of ofrendas (altars) in celebration of Día de los Muertos Ofrendas will be placed in the Domenici Education Building and the Roy E. Disney Performing Arts Center. Due to limited availability, the NHCC cannot accommodate all requests for tables.
