DESCRIPTION:5:30 pm – 7:30 pm \nOn the first Thursday of the month\, NHCC invites adults for artistic fun in a relaxed social setting\, which includes snacks\, refreshments\, and beer & wine for sale from Pop Fizz.  This is a great opportunity for friends to hang out\, a unique date night option\, or a place to come solo and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. \nThis month local artist to be announced. Inspired by current Art Museum exhibit\, House on Mango Street. \nEach session is led by a different artist and the art-making technique varies in this adults focused community event. DESCRIPTION:6 pm to 8 pm \nThe purpose of Instituto Cervantes’ Spanish Cooking Classes is to learn to cook typical dishes from Spain. Join us in preparing these tasty and delicious recipes to surprise your family and friends. During the class\, participants can learn Spanish as well\, as it is taught in Spanish and translated into English. The menu is as follows: \nAppetizer:  Gazpacho (cold soup with tomato\, garlic\, and raw vegetables)\nEntrée:  Bacalao a la Vizcaina (Basque-style codfish)\nDessert:  Natillas Caseras (cold vanilla pudding)\nDrink:  One glass of wine provided per person; extra wine may be purchased from Pop Fizz \nAll attendees are asked to bring a cutting board and a kitchen knife.
