Salud y Sabor: España

5:30 pm -- 7:30 pm Salud y Sabor, a partnership between the Agri-cultura Network, Street Food Institute, and the NHCC, is a free evening of food, art, and entertainment aimed at providing families with an opportunity to connect around nutrition, cooking, healthy lifestyles, and culture. Once a month, community members gather for cooking demonstrations using fresh, locally grown ingredients, as well as fun art activities for kids and adults, health screenings, and live entertainment. Bosque Chile Festival

11 am to 7 pm Join in the celebration of the chile harvest on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. This is a free event and festivities include entertainment, kids’ activities, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, beer, wine, and chef demonstrations. Spanish Cooking Classes: Summer Recipes

6 pm to 8 pm The purpose of Instituto Cervantes’ Spanish Cooking Classes is to learn to cook typical dishes from Spain. Join us in preparing these tasty and delicious recipes to surprise your family and friends. During the class, participants can learn Spanish as well, as it is taught in Spanish and translated into English.
