After meeting a charming trickster named Héctor\, the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history. \nDirected by Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3)\, co-directed by Adrian Molina (story artist Monsters University) and produced by Darla K. DESCRIPTION:7:30 – 9:00 pm \nThis event has been moved to the NHCC’s Bank of America Theatre to accommodate a larger audience. \nJoin us for a night of Música y Platíca con Lasotras\, a musical collective from Albuquerque with roots all over the Americas\, moderated by Enrique Cardiel. This event\, sponsored by Radical Harmonies\, a Mellon Foundation Grantee\, is the third in a series of events\, offers inspirational spaces for exploration\, dialogue\, and the convergence of thought and action. As an intellectual expression and creative output\, music can carry radical lyrical and rhythmic intonations that often contribute to challenging social boundaries and barriers\, capturing aspirations for social freedoms among diverse communities. \nFree Community Event presented in partnership with the University of New Mexico’s Chicana and Chicano Studies Department.
