Poets from the 2023 New Mexico Anthology: Workshop

Join co-editors and former poet laureates Michelle Otero and Levi Romero, along with select contributing poets, as they weave together a poetic tapestry evoking the diverse landscapes, cultures, histories, and poetic traditions that define our state. Siempre Creativo: New Mexico Folk Dance for Seniors
Salón Ortega 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM1:30 - 3:30 pm New Mexico Folk Dance for Seniors will feature 4 weeks of traditional Folk dance lessons, including the traditional La Marcha dance, taught by instructor Lucy Salazar. Classes run for four consecutive Wednesdays from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. On the day of the final class, we will dance to live music for a fun-filled dance fiesta! NHCC Volunteer Clean Up Day

Volunteers will meet at the NHCC Welcome Center at 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
