6:00 pm In collaboration with the University of New Mexico College of Fine Arts, the Center will host Texas-based artist José Villalobos as he presents his lecture "Challenging Toxic Masculinity and the Marginalization of Brown Queer Bodies." Guerrilla Opera: A Discussion with Composer/Director Nathan Felix

6:00pm A discussion with composer/director Nathan Felix about his guerilla approach to opera and staging unconventional classical music performances in non-traditional spaces and how it relates to his collaboration with NHCC. Felix will also give a retrospective insight into his process and inspiration behind his imaginative works such as '6 Pianos in Surround Sound', 'Opera on a Bus' and 'Immersive Operas'.
