Tours of the fresco are offered Thursdays and Fridays at 11am. Located in the Torreón on the NHCC Campus, Mundos de Mestizaje depicts thousands of years of Hispanic culture, history, and identity. Fronteras del Futuro: Art Workshop with Augustine Romero
Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM10:00 am During this workshop, participants will engage in a family friendly museum tour of Augustine Romero’s sculptures in Fronteras del Futuro: Art in New Mexico and Beyond. Our project is inspired by his “gutter drones” which are sculptural mixed media creations. During this all-ages workshop, we will be working with wooden shapes, wheels, paint, and a variety of tools to create our own sculptural art piece to take home. Meet at the Museum.
