The process of choosing these musical heroes begins each year with the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame Awards Committee asking New Mexico citizens to nominate artists and innovators who they thought should be so honored. Arte Poquito: Música de Bebé
NHCC-Newsletter-August-11-–-2410:00 am Infants 0-18 months and their caregivers explore music and rhyme with toddler musical instruments, Spanish rhymes, and even create an art activity with musical notes. Arte Poquito is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for infants ages 0 to 18 months and caregivers that nurtures creativity and provides bilingual introductory arts experiences balanced with social interaction. Each program focuses on different aspects of Hispanic/Latine arts, including music, dance, and storytelling.
