Diwali is one of the biggest Hindu festivals, celebrated in India with great enthusiasm and happiness for five continuous days. The third day is celebrated as the main Diwali festival, or “Festival of Lights,” and different varieties of colorful fireworks are always associated with this festival. New Mexico Young Actors: The Jungle Book

2:00 pm New Mexico Young Actors presents The Jungle Book, based on The Mowgli Stories by Rudyard Kipling. We follow the adventures of the “man-cub” Mowgli, a boy who was raised by wolves in a jungle in India. The Jungle Book features a cast of more that two dozen youth, and a small orchestra which includes a sitar. $14 The event is a rental event not an NHCC production.
