Diwali is one of the biggest Hindu festivals, celebrated in India with great enthusiasm and happiness for five continuous days. The third day is celebrated as the main Diwali festival, or “Festival of Lights,” and different varieties of colorful fireworks are always associated with this festival. New Mexico Young Actors: The Jungle Book

We follow the adventures of the “man-cub” Mowgli, a boy who was raised by wolves in a jungle in India. The Jungle Book features a cast of more that two dozen youth, and a small orchestra which includes a sitar. $14 The event is a rental event not an NHCC production. The process of choosing these musical heroes begins each year with the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame Awards Committee asking New Mexico citizens to nominate artists and innovators who they thought should be so honored.
