New Mexico Young Actors: The Jungle Book

Disney Center for Performing Arts: Albuquerque Journal Theatre 1701 4th St SW, Albuquerque, NM2:00 pm New Mexico Young Actors presents The Jungle Book, based on The Mowgli Stories by Rudyard Kipling. We follow the adventures of the “man-cub” Mowgli, a boy who was raised by wolves in a jungle in India. The Jungle Book features a cast of more that two dozen youth, and a small orchestra which includes a sitar. $14 The event is a rental event not an NHCC production. Explorar Las Artes: Teatro Conmigo

This multi-sensory program includes time for socializing and dramatic play. Explorar Las Artes is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for children 18 months to 4 years and caregivers that nurtures creativity and provides bilingual introductory arts experiences balanced with social interaction. Festival Ballet Albuquerque: Nutcracker in the Land of Enchantment

In this play written by New Mexico Senator Bill O’Neill, we meet two senators: an older urban and liberal senator and his colleague, a younger rural and conservative senator.
