Our César Chávez Day Fiesta has always been a celebration of the life and legacy of César Chávez, featuring a march—La Marcha de Justicia– followed by a family fiesta here at the Center.     3 pm Live via Zoom, register for an audition by emailing odaradance@gmail.com The NHCC’s annual celebration of Carnaval has been postponed because of the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, but we are not giving up on the celebration. While we work out the details, the Odara Dance Ensemble will be holding online auditions on Saturday, October 17th. Please register for an audition by emailing odaradance@gmail.com by October 15th. Unfortunately, with the current health restrictions, this year’s Despedida is another wonderful in-person event that has been canceled.
