The Mountains Wore Down to the Valleys Opening Reception
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Join us for an opening reception to celebrate the artists behind our newest exhibition, The Mountains Wore Down to the Valleys! The Mountains Wore Down to the Valleys is a collaborative sound and visual installation by New Mexican artists Adri De La Cruz and Marisa Demarco. The multi-phase exhibition begins with a sound experience that transforms over the course of 72 hours as 20 musical compositions on vinyl records erode over time. Business Basics for Visual Artists

NHCC will offer three presentations from local art professionals who will provide artists with a sampling of opportunities with the City of Albuquerque, an understanding of how to successfully navigate the challenges of artist contracts and grant writing. Tequila en El Torreón
NHCC Torreón 1701 4th street SW, Albuquerque, NM, United States6:00 pm The National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation is hosting a Tequila Tasting Event on June 29th, 2023 at 6:00 pm at the National Hispanic Cultural Center's Torreón. This includes tastings of five different tequilas, led by Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits Director of Mixology Michael Trujillo and a five-course food pairing by Chef Marcus Montoya.
