Make something! We are inspired by Straw Appliqué. This art form can be as simple or as complex as you want and it is always beautiful. Virtual 2020 Bosque Chile Festival

2 pm both days Bernalillo County and the National Hispanic Cultural Center present the Virtual 2020 Bosque Chile Festival, a celebration of food, art, and culture on the Rio Grande. The public is invited to join in the celebration of the chile harvest on Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th, 2020. Mapitzmitl Xiukwetzpaltin (PAZ) Presents Tonal Machiotl/Piedra del Sol/Aztec Calendar

Mira, Mira On the Wall: Reflecting on 20 Years of Exhibitions – Virtual Edition

The National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) turns twenty years old in 2020 and the museum now has twenty years of exhibitions to reflect on and learn from. Mira Mira On the Wall: Reflecting on 20 Years of Exhibitions – Virtual Edition recounts a selection of exhibits that have been presented over the last two decades. PAPA, Public Academy for Performing Arts: Spring Dance Concert: 2020 Vision

Thursday-Saturday, March 5-7, 2020 7 pm—Thursday & Friday 2 pm—Saturday The Public Academy for Performing Arts (PAPA) presents Vision, its annual spring dance concert featuring beginning to pre-professional ballet, contemporary, flamenco, hip-hop, musical theatre, and jazz dance students from grades 6-12.
