Broadway Bound LIVE: Round 1

7:30 pm to 9:30 pm The program is a televised musical theatre competition show for low-income young adults between the ages of 18-28. Día de Familia y Comunidad: Fiesta de Barelas

11:00 am – 3:00 pm Join us for arts activities and music during a day that honors the Barelas community, one of Albuquerque’s oldest neighborhoods. Visitors will have a chance to make paper architecture, maracas, and weavings. Join Chuy Martinez and other flamenco performers for sing-along presentations featuring music from the John Donald Robb New Mexico music archives. Colcha Community Stitch A-long

9:30 am on the 4th Tuesday of each month Our Colcha community Workshop is open to all levels of experience in an informal setting. This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught this art form to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. She is also an award-winning artist, most recently recognized in 2019 at Santa Fe Spanish Market.
