7:30 pm A singer/songwriter famed for his stunningly soulful baritone, John Gorka is one of the leading lights of the new folk movement. In 1987, Gorka cut his debut album, I Know, for the Red House label, winning acclaim for his songs’ subtle wit and acute observations. In the 1990s, he released several albums on the Windham Hill label. Since returning to Red House in 1998, Gorka has released several well-regarded albums, including The Company You Keep and So Dark You See, as well as Red Horse.
