Join us for a Mexika (Aztec) New Year ceremony, ushering in Xiwitl Nahui Tecpatl/Año Cuatro Pedernal/Year Four Flint.  The schedule is as follows: 10 am—Arranging the tlamanalli/ofrenda/offering 1 pm– Mitotiliztli/Danza/Ceremonial dance At 4 pm, the ceremony will be followed by a tlakwalli/comida compartida/potluck at Kalpulli Izkalli, 1028 Ann Avenue (Isleta and Lopez Road).  Please bring your favorite dish (more…)

Jugamos Juntos: ¡Vamos al Museo!, Spanish Mosaics

10:30 am — 12 pm The National Hispanic Cultural Center is pleased to offer children’s programming on Saturday mornings during June, July, and half of August, from 10:30 am to noon. Families can come to the Center for hands-on art activities, bilingual sing-alongs, outdoor activities in the bosque, and story times in the Center’s library.
