Siembra, Latino Theatre Season: The Season of La Llorona

Circo Radical Performance “La Vuelta”

6 pm & 8 pm This Friday, July 15th at 6pm or 8pm join the members of NHCC’s Summer Institute Circo Radical for a live circus arts performance, “La Vuelta”.  Circo Radical is the 4th program of our Summer Institutes and pairs advanced circus arts students with our team of professional circus artists and musicians. Summer Institute Performances: The Manoa Project

8 pm The NHCC’s Summer Institutes—Circo Latino, the Manoa Project, and Voces—are presenting performances based on the exhibit The House on Mango Street:  Artists Interpret Community and Sandra Cisneros’ book of the same name. Join the Manoa Project Teen Ensemble for a stirring performance inspired by themes of family, community, identity, and home. The fully produced original show was written and created by a group of theatre students who have trained and worked together over four weeks. $12 w/ $2 discount for students

Join Voces for a stirring performance inspired by themes of family, community, identity, and home—appropriate for all ages.  Students from the Voces writing program will perform selected pieces from their month of intensive writing, exploring their own inner voices as well as the themes from the exhibit and novel.
