While we work out the details, the Odara Dance Ensemble will be holding online auditions on Saturday, October 17th. Please register for an audition by emailing odaradance@gmail.com by October 15th. National Latinx Writers Gathering: A Virtual Event for Latinx Writers in All Genres

It is open to any Latinx writer working in any genre. As a result of the new coronavirus, all weekend events will be virtual. Rob Martínez, New Mexico State Historian Since colonial times, revolts and resistance have been a regular part of New Mexico history. Puebloan people had revolutions against Spanish political, economic and religious institutions. Spanish colonists resisted Spanish governors who thought themselves superior. Mexican New Mexicans resisted Mexican governors they did not like, and Pueblo and Genizaro natives joined in. New Mexicans revolted against American governors and economic institutions when things were not to their liking. (more...)
