Genealogy Workshops
Salón Ortega 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM10:00 – 12:00 pm NHCC | Salón Ortega Explore your cultural heritage at the NHCC with a free genealogy workshop as part of our Siempre Creativo program! These workshops will provide participating seniors with the opportunity to participate in interactive tours of the NHCC Art Museum and Torreón, paired with genealogy workshops and coffee socials. This event is part of the NHCC’s Siempre Creativo program. Free Community Event, generously supported by AARP.
Siempre Creativo: New Mexico Folk Dance for Seniors
Salón Ortega 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM1:30 - 3:30 pm New Mexico Folk Dance for Seniors will feature 4 weeks of traditional Folk dance lessons, including the traditional La Marcha dance, taught by instructor Lucy Salazar. Classes run for four consecutive Wednesdays from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. On the day of the final class, we will dance to live music for a fun-filled dance fiesta!
