  • Mexican Independence Day Celebration in partnership with the Mexican Consulate

    5:30 – 7:30 pm In collaboration with the Consulate of Mexico, the National Hispanic Cultural Center is proud to host a celebration of Mexican Independence Day featuring vendors, dancing, and much more! On Sept. 15, the Center will be joined by the Consulate of Mexico providing a formal flag unveiling and the traditional Grito, a celebration announcement of independence. The courtyard of the celebration will be adorned with Mexican flags and other decorations. The event will feature local vendors selling refreshments while celebrating with traditional music and dance. (more...)
