Her mother is also present, but the relationship is visible awkward as she feels she was neglected.     7:00 pm The NHCC Fall Film Series features Hispanic filmmakers that preserve our stories, promote our experiences and advance the vast cultural identity of our gente. This film series continues with Plaza Catedral (2021) on Thursday, Nov. 13. Alicia had a “perfect life” and lost it. Her six year old son died in an accident she feels she could have avoided.
