Explorar Las Artes: Early Childhood Bilingual Storytime: Una Sandía Bien Fría/One Cool Watermelon

10:00 am Una Sandía Bien Fría/One Cool Watermelon By Hannah Tofts is a clever and colorful introduction to counting from one to ten. Minimal text accompanies big, bold photographs of familiar fruits and vegetables to make counting easy and fun for new readers and listeners. Colcha Community Stitch A-long

9:30 am on the 4th Tuesday of each month Our Colcha community workshop is open to all levels of experience in an informal setting. This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught this art form to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. She is also an award-winning artist, most recently recognized in 2019 at Santa Fe Spanish Market. Nuestra Herencia: Genealogy Workshop for Seniors

Nuestra Herencia will provide participating seniors with the opportunity to participate in interactive tours of the NHCC Art Museum and Torreón, paired with genealogy workshops and coffee socials. 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm NHCC invites adults for artistic fun in a relaxed social setting. This is a great opportunity for friends to hang out, a unique date night option, or a place to come solo and connect with fellow art enthusiasts.
