    “¡Mira! Nuestra Arquitectura: An Architectural Journey” An architectural history of the NHCC, in celebration of our 20th anniversary. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the National Hispanic Cultural Center, the History and Literary Arts program presents “¡Mira! Nuestra Arquitectura: An Architectural Journey,” an architectural history of the Center’s past, present and future. This exhibit consists of text, sketch drawings, blueprints, maps, and photographs exploring Hispanic/Latinx culture and heritage as expressed through the buildings and landscape of the Center.   • Mundos de Mestizaje: TorreĂłn Tour

    11 am (MST) The National Hispanic Cultural Center is offering a guided tour of the Mundos de Mestizaje fresco by Frederico Vigil twice a week, Thursdays and Fridays at 11 am. Located in the TorreĂłn on the NHCC Campus, Mundos de Mestizaje depicts thousands of years of Hispanic culture, history, and identity. Admission for the tour is $2 and tickets are available for advance purchase below. Tickets can also be purchased in the New Mexico Mutual Welcome Center, depending on availability.   • Tempo y Tiempo: 4 Photographers in New Mexico Opening Reception

    5 -7 pm Free, in-person, public reception at the NHCC Art Museum Per the public health order, masks are required indoors The exhibition Tempo y Tiempo features photographs by four artists working in New Mexico: Frank Blazquez, Bobby Gutierrez, Pico del Hierro-Villa, and Ximena Montez. Collectively, the artists tell stories about what it is to live in New Mexico, illustrating a range of identities, experiences, and moments.

  • Film: Nuevas Cinefilias, Estaciones singulares: This Film Is About Me

    12 pm (available for 48 hours) Alexis Delgado’s This Film Is About Me is a singular portrait of Renata Felicitas Soskey, serving time in a Galician prison for the brutal murder of her neighbor. Renata sees it clearly: this film is about her—about her personality, her charisma, her poetry, and her unpredictability, and not about her crime or her punishment.   • The Musical Adventures of Oliver Twist
