This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught this art form to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. She is also an award winning artist, most recently recognized in 2019 at Santa Fe Spanish Market. Located in the Torreón on the NHCC Campus, Mundos de Mestizaje depicts thousands of years of Hispanic culture, history, and identity.     “¡Mira! Nuestra Arquitectura: An Architectural Journey” An architectural history of the NHCC, in celebration of our 20th anniversary. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the National Hispanic Cultural Center, the History and Literary Arts program presents “¡Mira! Nuestra Arquitectura: An Architectural Journey,” an architectural history of the Center’s past, present and future. This exhibit consists of text, sketch drawings, blueprints, maps, and photographs exploring Hispanic/Latinx culture and heritage as expressed through the buildings and landscape of the Center.     11 am Albuquerque's CARNAVAL 2022 at the NHCC’s Roy E Disney Center for Performing Arts is scheduled for February 25th & 26th, 2022. The Odara Dance Ensemble will be holding audition Saturday, August 21st starting at 11 am at the NHCC’s PNM Rehearsal Hall . Be prepared to audition to various styles of dance, including cultural elements of Cuba, Trinidad, Brazil, and New Orleans.
