    11:00 am (MST) The National Hispanic Cultural Center is offering a guided tour of the Mundos de Mestizaje fresco created by artist Frederico Vigil. Tours of the fresco are offered Thursdays and Fridays at 11am. Located in the Torreón on the NHCC Campus, Mundos de Mestizaje depicts thousands of years of Hispanic culture, history, and identity. Admission for the tour is $2 and tickets are available for advance purchase below. Tickets can also be purchased in the New Mexico Mutual Welcome Center, depending on availability.     10:00 am to 4:00 pm The Women’s Art Show displays work from approximately 50 female artists who are coming from throughout New Mexico to participate in this show. Half of the artists are coming from the following communities: Chimayo, Taos, Tijeras, Las Vegas, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, Alcalde, Chamita, Espanola, Placitas, Santa Fe, Peralta, Los Ranchos, Santo Domingo, Las Cruces, Anthony, Santa Cruz and Cerrillos.   • Explorar las Artes: Baila Conmigo

    10:00 am Children 18 months to 4 years and their caregivers will have the chance to explore arts through traditional New Mexico dance and other dance forms using ribbon sticks, rhythm instruments, and even flamenco.  Explorar las Artes is a free, bi-monthly 45-minute program for toddlers ages 18 months to 4 years and caregivers that cultivates creativity and self-expression through the exploration of Hispanic/Latine arts and culture.
