Tours of the fresco are offered Thursdays and Fridays at 11am. Located in the Torreón on the NHCC Campus, Mundos de Mestizaje depicts thousands of years of Hispanic culture, history, and identity. This multi-sensory program includes time for socializing and art exploration. Arte Poquito is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for babies and toddlers ages 0 months to 4 years and their caregivers that cultivates creativity and self-expression through the exploration of Hispanic/Latine arts and culture. Two Solar Eclipses in ABQ

All of Albuquerque and parts of several Native American pueblos and reservations lie in the path of an annular (“ring”) solar eclipse on October 14, 2023, which falls during the International Balloon Fiesta. All of New Mexico will have a second, partial solar eclipse six months later, on April 8, 2024.
