    7 pm Saturday, 2 pm Sunday The Sandia Performing Arts Company (SPAC) presents the film version of their recent production of Reasons.  Directed by Ruben Muller, Reasons is the dark and disturbing story of Elvino Luis Mulares, a Mexican American World War II Army veteran who survived the war but still carries the psychological scars, spanning a 40-year period of his life as an alcoholic with a growing family in mid-century New Mexico.   • Colcha Community Stitch-Along

    1 pm (MST) Live via Zoom Our Virtual Colcha Community Workshop is open to all levels of experience in an informal setting, wherever they may reside. This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught this art form to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. She is also an award winning artist, most recently recognized in 2019 at Santa Fe Spanish Market.     “¡Mira! Nuestra Arquitectura: An Architectural Journey” An architectural history of the NHCC, in celebration of our 20th anniversary. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the National Hispanic Cultural Center, the History and Literary Arts program presents “¡Mira! Nuestra Arquitectura: An Architectural Journey,” an architectural history of the Center’s past, present and future. This exhibit consists of text, sketch drawings, blueprints, maps, and photographs exploring Hispanic/Latinx culture and heritage as expressed through the buildings and landscape of the Center.
