5:30 pm Join us for the first installment of our Entre Palabras Online Book Club, featuring the New Mexico classic Bless Me, Ultima, by Rudolfo Anaya. NHCC’s Entre Palabras Online Book Club explores diverse themes and topics within the Hispanic/Latine diaspora including identity, place, borders, nationality, race, gender, and language. The book club highlights pieces centered on New Mexico and the Southwest as well as Hispanic/Latine/Latin American works from both the United States and a variety of countries throughout the Hispanic world. Vamos al Museo: Family Art Workshop

Colcha Community Stitch A-long

9:30 am on the 4th Tuesday of each month Our Colcha community Workshop is open to all levels of experience in an informal setting. This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught this art form to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. She is also an award-winning artist, most recently recognized in 2019 at Santa Fe Spanish Market.
