7 pm The NHCC’s Summer Institutes—Circo Latino, the Manoa Project, and Voces—are presenting performances based on the exhibit The House on Mango Street:  Artists Interpret Community and Sandra Cisneros’ book of the same name. Join Voces for a stirring performance inspired by themes of family, community, identity, and home—appropriate for all ages.  Students from the Voces writing program will perform selected pieces from their month of intensive writing, exploring their own inner voices as well as the themes from the exhibit and novel.
