  • Mundos de Mestizaje: Torreón Tour

    11:00 am (MST) The National Hispanic Cultural Center is offering a guided tour of the Mundos de Mestizaje fresco created by artist Frederico Vigil. Tours of the fresco are offered Thursdays and Fridays at 11am. Located in the Torreón on the NHCC Campus, Mundos de Mestizaje depicts thousands of years of Hispanic culture, history, and identity. Admission for the tour is $2 and tickets are available for advance purchase below. Tickets can also be purchased in the New Mexico Mutual Welcome Center, depending on availability.   • Colcha Community Stitch A-long

    9:30 am (MST) on the second Tuesday of the Month On Zoom and onsite Our Colcha community Workshop is open to all levels of experience in an informal setting.   • Arte Poquito: Arte de Bebé

    10:00 am Infants 0-18 months and their caregivers will have a chance to explore visual arts and even visit the NHCC Art Museum. This multi-sensory program includes time for socializing and art exploration. Arte Poquito is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for infants ages 0 to 18 months and caregivers that nurtures creativity and provides bilingual introductory arts experiences balanced with social interaction. Each program focuses on different aspects of Hispanic/Latine arts, including music, dance, and storytelling.   • Early Childhood Bilingual Storytime: Tía with the Tortilla
